SWITS
sweeps the FAA awards 02/08/2010
In January, the Star Wars Fanworks community voted for their favorite fan audio productions of 2009 in a variety of categories. SWITS was up for all the audio drama categories... and won them all. You can download and listen to the Fan Audio Award (FAA) show (spinoff#16) hosted this year by husband and wife, Andrew and Sarah Gilbertson along with the multitalented audio producer Joe Harrison. I am blessed to have been surrounded by such talented people, that it made my project better than I expected. Thanks to all the people involved and congrats to the runners-up. THIS IS IT! The last and climactic episode of Star Wars : In the Shadows is available. This finale includes a 22 minutes bonus of bloopers and outtakes from the production. Enjoy.

Episode 2: Against all Odds 33m06s SWITS starts its release! 10/04/2009 The time has finally come. Ten months after writing began, the final audio drama is ready for release. Star Wars : In the Shadows begins its six episodes run with "Criminal Entanglements", an episode taking place on Coruscant and introducing our main heroes and villains. TRAILER 3m57s Keep an eye out for the episode release schedule. SWITS Official Poster revealed - 09/16/2009It is with great pleasure that we present the Official Poster for Star Wars: In The Shadows. It features Emma Wermis, the story's main character, and known figures like Darth Vader, Prince Xizor and his assassin Guri from Shadows of the Empire multimedia project. Thanks to 501st member Thomas Spanos for his Xizor costume, and pictures.
After three grueling months, the primary mixing for SWITS is finally complete. The production has now moved to music supervision and the creation of episode previews and the official trailer. The audio drama has a running time of approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes without the credits, previews and promos. It will be released in six episodes over an predetermined period of time. The release schedule isn’t determined yet, since a lot of work still needs to be done, but you can expect a 2009 release instead of 2010 as indicated on the teaser poster. We will continue to update our twitter feed with small production updates and the SWITS facts, so make sure you follow us and don’t miss any “surprises” that might pop-up exclusively for the followers. While waiting for the release of the official SWITS trailer, the production decided to make some scenes from Episode One available through different podcast partners. It all begins today with the TFN Forcecast at 8PM EST. Make sure not to miss any of the scenes available online and updates about the production. Audition deadline is set - 04/27/2009 The audition deadline for Star Wars : In the Shadows, is : Monday May 4th 2009. The Casting Call is available HERE. This is earlier than planned because we expect a long audition process and we ant to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. There are fifty three roles to be casted with over 1500 lines of dialogue. There are many different types of roles for the more or less experienced voice actors so we invite everyone to try out and be a part of this great project. We have a new website! - 04/05/2009 To celebrate the end of writing our first original script, we decided to update our well overdue website. The design is simple and should give you all the information you need to know and give you access to our past, present and future projects. We also added a tentative Beta version of the website formatted for mobile devices (i.e.. iPhone & Blackberry). This should give you another easy way to keep in touch while you are on the go. I would appreciate feedback and pictures of the mobile device displaying the Beta version, since I don't possess one. Stay tuned for the Casting Call announcement next month.
